Mary Ann Castillo, the union president of the Nexperia Philippines Inc. Workers Union-NAFLU-KMU, stated, “We have done everything to address our concerns. We followed the proper process, but we were met with retaliation, union attacks, and violations of our rights.”
She added, “If we are further shortchanged today, we will have no other choice but to exercise our right to strike.”
