ALERT:
Four union officials of the Nexperia Philippines Inc. Workers Union-NAFLU-KMU were sacked by the bosses last December 18, 2024. The union officials, including the president of the union were escorted out of the shop floor by company security. The sacking followed the retrenchment of more than 500 workers of the company in the past year in accordance with the bosses plan for cost optimization and automation.
NEXPERIA is a semiconductor manufacturer headquartered in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, managed by a Dutch team. It is a subsidiary of the partially state-owned Chinese company Wingtech Technology.
